On November 16th, the University of Western Ontario held an opening of the Tolerance Poster Show in conjunction with The International Day for Tolerance declared by UNESCO in 1995. The show continues to January 18th 2022. 

The University of Western Ontario, Canada and the Faculty of Information & Media Studies organized and hosted this show. The show is being held throughout the Faculty of Film and Media Studies building and on campus McIntosh Gallery (Brian Lambert).

The show was opened by the Dean of FIMS, Lisa Henderson and the Associate Dean Susan Knabe followed by the Keynote Speaker Dr. Opiyo Oloya. The university also organized a panel discussion with Atle Mikkola Kjosen, Andrew Lewis & Sharon Sliwinski, engaging in discussion on the theme of Tolerance and the role of posters in society today.
