On September 22nd, 2024, the Tolerance Poster Show opened its 200th show at the Andy Arts Center in Detroit. The exhibition was created in collaboration with Detroit Design Core and is showcased during Detroit Design Month. Notably, Detroit is the first and only UNESCO City of Design in the United States.
The Andy Arts Center is a local, community-driven organization. Through dedication and collaboration, they aim to foster global dialogue within the Detroit community by encouraging empathy, understanding, and connection through their exhibitions.
This show was made possible by DMJStudio, which creates art exhibits and experiences from the perspectives of women, people of colour, urban dwellers, and global citizens. We are grateful to Donna Jackson, founder of DMJStudio, and Olga Severina from Poster Territory for their efforts in bringing this show to life.
