The Tolerance Poster Show opened on September 12th, 2025, on La Réunion as part of France Design Week 2025. The show was installed at Carré Cathédrale in Saint-Denis, a central and vibrant location where locals, visitors, and passersby converge—giving the posters an original context above terraces and communal spaces.
Presenting the Tolerance Project in Réunion carries a special resonance. More than 80 pieces of work from around the world find a unique echo here because this island in the Indian Ocean is a true crossroads of cultures, languages, and beliefs, where differences meet, interact, and are respected.
This edition was made possible thanks to the support of the Direction des Affaires Culturelles (DAC) of Réunion, the Réunion Region, and the Carré Cathédrale association. The artistic direction was conceived and led by Lucie Dégut and Marguerite Vatier, founders of Alliance Réunion Design, an association that promotes design in Réunion. We also thank Élodie Cairey for her invaluable assistance.
