On May 23rd, 2025, the Tolerance Poster Show opened at the Wollhalle Municipal Gallery in Güstrow. The show remained on view until September 7th, 2025.
In Güstrow, the Tolerance Poster Show could be seen at several different places. With 118 posters, the Wollhalle itself hosted the majority of all posters shown here. Posters could also be seen in the Gallery Martina Fregin, in a social center that primarily cares for immigrants, and on the outside of the Gallery of Prof. Gunter Rambow (whose own tolerance poster was located in the Wollhalle). Also, banners were hanging over two streets in the Old Town of Güstrow. In total, Güstrow presented 183 posters from the show's collection.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Professor Gunter Rambow and his wife, Angelika Eschbach-Rambow, for inspiring the administration of the City of Güstrow to host the Tolerance Poster Show. A big thank you goes to the city public utilities for decorating the streets with Tolerance poster banners. We appreciate this wonderful community spirit!
The Tolerance Poster Show was curated, organized, and made possible through the tireless efforts of Madleen Hoffmeister from the Wollhalle Municipal Gallery. We are grateful to Professor Rambow for designing the announcement poster for the event.
