On April 10th, 2024, The Tolerance Poster Show opened the first small but very important exhibition at the CIVEX Commission in the European Committee of the Regions in Atrium 5 of the Jacques Delors building in Brussels. Patrick Molinoz, Vice President of the French region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Chair of the Commission for Citizenship, Governance, Institutional and External Affairs in the CoR opened the show.

Mr. Molinoz stressed the importance of being constantly "reminded that democracy cannot be taken for granted and that the values underpinning it - such as tolerance, freedom and respect of diversity - are in constant need of protection".

"The posters masterfully break prejudices and surprise us with the variety of metaphors picturing discrimination."- concluded the Chair, inviting the members and staff of the Committee to visit the exhibition.
