Trieste, Italy

October 25, 2025

On October 25th, 2025, the Tolerance Poster Show opened in Trieste, with installations throughout the city’s multicultural Barriera Vecchia district. The exhibition unfolded through public billboards along Viale D’Annunzio and Piazza Garibaldi, four large four-meter-tall flags mounted on the pillars of Piazza Goldoni, and eight monumental banners displayed inside the Mercato Coperto (Covered Green Market). Featuring over fifty posters from the Tolerance Project, the installation transforms the urban fabric into a vast visual dialogue open to both residents and visitors.

The show was organized by Cizerouno Cultural Association as part of the Varcare la Frontiera (Crossing the Border) festival, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and in co-organization with the Municipality of Trieste.

The opening was attended by Massimiliano Schiozzi, President of Cizerouno Cultural Association; Vincenzo Luongo, Cizerouno; and Serena Tonel, Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Economic Policies of the Municipality of Trieste.
